# Pro SMS Scheduler vs Reminder Text

The clearest difference is rating: Reminder Text at 4.8 against Pro SMS Scheduler's 3.4. Reminder Text also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 39%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Pro SMS Scheduler's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro SMS Scheduler sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Reminder Text sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reminder Text holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reminder Text has 134 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of Pro SMS Scheduler's written reviews are positive against 78% of Reminder Text's.

Pro SMS Scheduler ships an update fortnightly, Reminder Text every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
