# Manikin vs Screen Recorder Pro⋆

Manikin and Screen Recorder Pro⋆ both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Manikin's written reviews are positive against 32% of Screen Recorder Pro⋆'s. Manikin also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). Screen Recorder Pro⋆'s advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 4.4K) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Manikin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Screen Recorder Pro⋆ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Manikin against 4.5 for Screen Recorder Pro⋆. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recorder Pro⋆ has 23K ratings behind it against 4.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
