# Manikin vs Time

The clearest difference is update cadence: Time at every 2 weeks against Manikin's every 2 months. Time also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Manikin's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 874). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Manikin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Time sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Manikin against 4.5 for Time. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Manikin has 4.4K ratings behind it against 874, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Manikin's written reviews are positive against 69% of Time's.

Manikin ships an update every 2 months, Time every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
