# Fyctia vs Chapitres

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chapitres at 85% against Fyctia's 8%. Fyctia's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chapitres sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Fyctia asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fyctia holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Fyctia's written reviews are positive against 85% of Chapitres's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fyctia ships an update every 2 weeks, Chapitres every 10 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
