# Faxbot vs ProofBox Vault

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProofBox Vault at every 4 months against Faxbot's every 8 months. ProofBox Vault also leads on iOS requirement (16.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Faxbot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ProofBox Vault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Faxbot ships an update every 8 months, ProofBox Vault every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
