# Driver Panel vs Trident Taxis

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trident Taxis at every 3 weeks against Driver Panel's every 6 months. Driver Panel's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Driver Panel ships an update every 6 months, Trident Taxis every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
