# QuickNotes X vs Notewise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notewise at every 2 days against QuickNotes X's every 5 weeks. Notewise also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and review sentiment (55% vs 38%). QuickNotes X's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 275) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickNotes X sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months and Notewise sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notewise holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuickNotes X has 3.8K ratings behind it against 275, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of QuickNotes X's written reviews are positive against 55% of Notewise's.

QuickNotes X ships an update every 5 weeks, Notewise every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
