# QuickNotes X vs Notes for iPad

The clearest difference is ratings volume: QuickNotes X at 3.8K against Notes for iPad's 99. QuickNotes X also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Notes for iPad's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickNotes X sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months and Notes for iPad sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
