# OCR Instantly vs GL

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GL at none against OCR Instantly's 3. OCR Instantly's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OCR Instantly sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. GL asks for nothing beyond the download.
