# LEMON vs ChatCade

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChatCade at every 8 days against LEMON's every 2 months. ChatCade also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). LEMON's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LEMON sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and ChatCade sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChatCade holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LEMON has 2.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of LEMON's written reviews are positive against 100% of ChatCade's.

LEMON ships an update every 2 months, ChatCade every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
