# bunq vs Tikkie

The clearest difference is rating: Tikkie at 4.8 against bunq's 4.4. bunq's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 19%) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tikkie holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.4K and 1.5K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of bunq's written reviews are positive against 19% of Tikkie's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

bunq ships an update weekly, Tikkie monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
