# Fly Plane vs SkyKing

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Fly Plane at 13K against SkyKing's 4. Fly Plane also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fly Plane sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SkyKing sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Fly Plane against 4.3 for SkyKing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fly Plane has 13K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 32% of Fly Plane's written reviews are positive against 33% of SkyKing's.

Fly Plane ships an update every 8 months, SkyKing every 15 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
