# SiteWarn vs AvWx

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AvWx at 100% against SiteWarn's 50%. AvWx also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (8 vs 2). SiteWarn's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AvWx sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. SiteWarn asks for nothing beyond the download.

SiteWarn holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of SiteWarn's written reviews are positive against 100% of AvWx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SiteWarn ships an update every 6 weeks, AvWx every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
