# Unis vs NFC Tools

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Unis at none against NFC Tools's 1. Unis also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). NFC Tools's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 1) and chart position (#197 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NFC Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Unis asks for nothing beyond the download.

Unis holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NFC Tools has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Unis ships an update every 4 weeks, NFC Tools every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
