# Flash Sync vs LIGHTLINK Lightshows Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Flash Sync at 4.5 against LIGHTLINK Lightshows Mobile's 3.6. Flash Sync also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (161 vs 31). LIGHTLINK Lightshows Mobile's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flash Sync sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and LIGHTLINK Lightshows Mobile sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flash Sync holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flash Sync has 161 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Flash Sync's written reviews are positive against 58% of LIGHTLINK Lightshows Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flash Sync ships an update every 5 weeks, LIGHTLINK Lightshows Mobile every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
