# Flash Sync vs Strobe it!

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Strobe it! at 100% against Flash Sync's 50%. Strobe it! also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). Flash Sync's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (161 vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flash Sync sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Strobe it! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flash Sync holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flash Sync has 161 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Flash Sync's written reviews are positive against 100% of Strobe it!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
