# Notarize vs TAAX Pro

Notarize and TAAX Pro both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of TAAX Pro's written reviews are positive against 72% of Notarize's. Notarize's advantage is ratings volume (119K vs 8). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Notarize against 4.9 for TAAX Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notarize has 119K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 72% of Notarize's written reviews are positive against 100% of TAAX Pro's.

Notarize ships an update every 3 weeks, TAAX Pro every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
