# Tasko vs Aquarium Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Aquarium Tracker at 4.8 against Tasko's 1.0. Aquarium Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Tasko's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tasko sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Aquarium Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aquarium Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aquarium Tracker has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Tasko's written reviews are positive against 0% of Aquarium Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tasko ships an update every 3 weeks, Aquarium Tracker every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
