# XKchrome LED Light vs ProGLOW

The clearest difference is review sentiment: XKchrome LED Light at 48% against ProGLOW's 0%. XKchrome LED Light also leads on ratings volume (83 vs 9). ProGLOW's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ProGLOW holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XKchrome LED Light has 83 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of XKchrome LED Light's written reviews are positive against 0% of ProGLOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XKchrome LED Light ships an update every 5 weeks, ProGLOW fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
