# SNOW vs Shadowx

The clearest difference is ads: Shadowx at none against SNOW's shown. Shadowx also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). SNOW's advantage is chart position (#92 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SNOW sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Shadowx sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SNOW ships an update weekly, Shadowx every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
