# WXPL vs Tippy

Both are free to download. Tippy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. WXPL asks for nothing beyond the download.

WXPL ships an update every 21 months, Tippy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
