# Runtopia vs Growfitter

The clearest difference is rating: Runtopia at 4.7 against Growfitter's 3.9. Runtopia also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Growfitter's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Runtopia sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Growfitter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Runtopia holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Runtopia has 2.6K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Runtopia's written reviews are positive against 79% of Growfitter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
