# Sortd for Gmail vs AI Email Inbox

The clearest difference is rating: Sortd for Gmail at 5.0 against AI Email Inbox's 3.2. Sortd for Gmail also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4). AI Email Inbox's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 25%) and ratings volume (41 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Email Inbox sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Sortd for Gmail asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sortd for Gmail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Email Inbox has 41 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Sortd for Gmail's written reviews are positive against 61% of AI Email Inbox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sortd for Gmail ships an update every 2 months, AI Email Inbox every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
