# Sortd for Gmail vs Drag

The clearest difference is rating: Sortd for Gmail at 5.0 against Drag's 3.0. Drag's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (43% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sortd for Gmail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Sortd for Gmail's written reviews are positive against 43% of Drag's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sortd for Gmail ships an update every 2 months, Drag every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
