# Sortd for Gmail vs ToDo for Google

The clearest difference is rating: Sortd for Gmail at 5.0 against ToDo for Google's 4.4. Sortd for Gmail also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). ToDo for Google's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (25 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToDo for Google sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Sortd for Gmail asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sortd for Gmail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ToDo for Google has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Sortd for Gmail's written reviews are positive against 33% of ToDo for Google's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sortd for Gmail ships an update every 2 months, ToDo for Google every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
