# Square Appointments vs Omnify Go

The clearest difference is rating: Square Appointments at 4.9 against Omnify Go's 1.0. Square Appointments also leads on ratings volume (195K vs 1). Omnify Go's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 69%) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Square Appointments holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Square Appointments has 195K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Square Appointments's written reviews are positive against 100% of Omnify Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Square Appointments ships an update every 6 days, Omnify Go every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
