# BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark vs Before After Effect Collage BA

BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark and Before After Effect Collage BA both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of Before After Effect Collage BA's written reviews are positive against 30% of BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark's. BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 383) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Before After Effect Collage BA sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark has 2.2K ratings behind it against 383, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark's written reviews are positive against 70% of Before After Effect Collage BA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BeforeAfter, Instant Watermark ships an update monthly, Before After Effect Collage BA every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
