# Slideshow Maker (SlidePlus) vs MagikLab

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Slideshow Maker (SlidePlus) at 2.4K against MagikLab's 95. MagikLab's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slideshow Maker (SlidePlus) sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days and MagikLab sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
