# CamView Mobile vs UniCam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CamView Mobile at 100% against UniCam's 33%. CamView Mobile also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.0). UniCam's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UniCam sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. CamView Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

UniCam holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniCam has 52 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CamView Mobile's written reviews are positive against 33% of UniCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CamView Mobile ships an update every 2 months, UniCam every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
