# eero wifi system vs UltraPro

The clearest difference is rating: eero wifi system at 4.8 against UltraPro's 4.3. eero wifi system also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (209K vs 269). UltraPro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eero wifi system sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. UltraPro asks for nothing beyond the download.

eero wifi system holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eero wifi system has 209K ratings behind it against 269, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of eero wifi system's written reviews are positive against 48% of UltraPro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eero wifi system ships an update every 2 weeks, UltraPro every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
