# FileCentral for iPhone vs HEAVN Software Update

The clearest difference is rating: FileCentral for iPhone at 4.8 against HEAVN Software Update's 2.6. FileCentral for iPhone also leads on ratings volume (178 vs 5) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 20 months). HEAVN Software Update's advantage is monetization model (free vs paid) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FileCentral for iPhone holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FileCentral for iPhone has 178 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of FileCentral for iPhone's written reviews are positive against 100% of HEAVN Software Update's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FileCentral for iPhone ships an update every 6 months, HEAVN Software Update every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
