# Freedcamp vs ADVCT

The clearest difference is price: Freedcamp at Free against ADVCT's $7.99. Freedcamp also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.0). ADVCT's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Freedcamp is free to download; ADVCT costs $7.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ADVCT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freedcamp has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Freedcamp ships an update every 2 months, ADVCT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
