# Dr. Berg vs Nombre

The clearest difference is price: Dr. Berg at Free against Nombre's $0.99. Dr. Berg also leads on ratings volume (3.5K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.1). Nombre's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Dr. Berg is free to download; Nombre costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Dr. Berg against 5.0 for Nombre. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dr. Berg has 3.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
