# Showmars vs Sub Station

Showmars and Sub Station both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Showmars's written reviews are positive against 50% of Sub Station's. Showmars also leads on ratings volume (9K vs 925). Sub Station's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Showmars against 4.9 for Sub Station. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Showmars has 9K ratings behind it against 925, so its average is the more settled of the two.
