# Showmars vs Hobo's To Go

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hobo's To Go at every 2 weeks against Showmars's every 5 months. Showmars's advantage is ratings volume (9K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Showmars against 5.0 for Hobo's To Go. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Showmars has 9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Showmars ships an update every 5 months, Hobo's To Go every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
