# IMETRIX vs VisionLink™

The clearest difference is update cadence: VisionLink™ at monthly against IMETRIX's every 5 months. VisionLink™ also leads on ratings volume (42 vs 3). IMETRIX's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IMETRIX holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VisionLink™ has 42 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IMETRIX ships an update every 5 months, VisionLink™ monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
