# This Week vs Focus Gacha

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Gacha at 5.0 against This Week's 4.3. Focus Gacha also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (freemium vs paid). This Week's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. This Week sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Focus Gacha sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Gacha holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: This Week has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 90% of This Week's written reviews are positive against 100% of Focus Gacha's.

This Week ships an update every 3 weeks, Focus Gacha every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
