# MyPatch vs BirthControl Reminder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BirthControl Reminder at 100% against MyPatch's 29%. BirthControl Reminder also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). MyPatch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BirthControl Reminder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. MyPatch asks for nothing beyond the download.

MyPatch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BirthControl Reminder has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of MyPatch's written reviews are positive against 100% of BirthControl Reminder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
