# fitDEGREE vs RIVE Pilates

The clearest difference is rating: RIVE Pilates at 5.0 against fitDEGREE's 2.8. fitDEGREE's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RIVE Pilates holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: fitDEGREE has 70 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

fitDEGREE ships an update every 3 months, RIVE Pilates every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
