# Vector & SVG Maker vs SVG Editor

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vector & SVG Maker at free with in-app purchases against SVG Editor's subscription. Vector & SVG Maker also leads on review sentiment (49% vs 23%) and ratings volume (11K vs 37). SVG Editor's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vector & SVG Maker sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SVG Editor sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vector & SVG Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vector & SVG Maker has 11K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Vector & SVG Maker's written reviews are positive against 23% of SVG Editor's.

Vector & SVG Maker ships an update every 2 months, SVG Editor every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
