GCSE Geography helps you study for GCSE (9–1) Geography, the UK exam taken at age 16, with exam-style questions, revision notes and a mock test. Choose your exam board when you first open the app: AQA (8035), Edexcel Geography B (1GB0) or OCR Geography B (J384). Topics, questions and the mock test then follow your course. It suits students in Year 10 and Year 11, and parents or teachers who want a structured way to study. WHAT'S INSIDE • AQA: 920 exam-style questions across 92 subtopics • Edexcel B: 820 exam-style questions across 82 subtopics • OCR B: 850 exam-style questions across 85 subtopics • A revision note for every subtopic, with diagrams, key terms and examples • A full explanation with every question, so you see why the right answer is right • A Mock Test that draws questions from across your course YOUR CASE STUDIES, NOT EVERYONE'S Every school teaches different case studies. Pick the ones your teacher uses, such as Nepal 2015 or Chile 2010 for tectonic hazards, Rio de Janeiro, Lagos or Mumbai for a city in a poorer country, or the Holderness or Dorset coast. The app hides the case studies you don't study, in topic lists and in the Mock Test. For AQA and Edexcel B you can also choose your options, such as hot deserts or cold environments (AQA) or your fieldwork (Edexcel B), or which UK landscapes you studied. Not sure yet? Leave it on "Not sure – show all" and you see everything. Changing a choice never deletes your progress. PHYSICAL, HUMAN AND SKILLS • Physical Geography: tectonic and weather hazards, climate change, ecosystems, rainforests, deserts and cold environments, and UK landscapes such as coasts, rivers and glaciated uplands • Human Geography: urban issues, development and the changing economic world, the UK economy, and resource management • Geographical Skills: atlas and OS maps (grid references, scale, contours and cross sections), photographs, satellite images and GIS, graphs and charts, choropleth, isoline and flow-line maps, averages and percentages, scatter graphs, fieldwork and issue evaluation MAP AND GRAPH SKILLS Skills questions come with their own maps, graphs and climate graphs, so you practice reading real values and patterns the way the exam asks you to. A note on the format: questions are multiple choice. The app helps you learn facts, case-study detail and skills, and spot common mistakes. It does not grade extended written answers, so keep practicing those on paper too. FREE TO TRY Part of every board's course is free, with its questions and the Mock Test on those questions: 120 free questions on AQA and OCR B, and 150 on Edexcel B. Case-study subtopics are part of the full version. UNLOCK EVERYTHING Unlock every subtopic, question, note and case study with: • a monthly, quarterly, 6-month or yearly subscription, or • a one-time lifetime unlock, paid once with no renewal Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. A purchase covers all three exam boards. Independent app: GCSE Geography is not affiliated with or endorsed by AQA, Pearson or OCR. About iQra’ “The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it”. Authentic Hadeeth The idea is not new for those who want to learn how to read the Quran with its full eloquence and articulation. What’s innovative about this app in particular is that it’s charm lies within the fine details brought to the learner to make his knowledge seeking for interactive and less complicated. It is very simple, however, it holds and explains the tajweed rules with full sophistication and class. The books of iQra’ have been taught world wide to non-Arabic speaking learners. They start as simple as learning the 28 letters of the Arabic Alphabet. They finish at book 6 whereas the students would have learnt all the Must-Know in order to read the Quran. This is the first version to be released to the world. We had to send it before we finalised the flash cards and the quizzes for evaluation as there has been a demand from several schools on this app to be released with its basics to start with while the developers are working hand in hand with Mr. Hijazi (the owner) to add self-assessing methods to it such as quizzes, trackers and flash cards. App features : - Accurate, high quality audio pronunciations by native Arabic speaker (Mr. Hijazi himself) - Touch to listen - Autoplay full page - Sample book is included for FREE - Control speed of audio playback in Autoplay mode - Add notes to any word / letter in any page - Bookmark pages for later review - Arabic pronunciation learning videos - Explanation videos (Getting processed) - Multi-user accounts, can be used by the whole family with 1 purchase - Multiple customized themes. - Works offline after downloading books - Small size, only download the books that you want - Kids friendly without any unwanted ads that interfere with the learning experience Coming Soon: - Track the progress of your kid(s) - Quizzes and flashcards to master all lessons Who is Mr. Hijazi? Mr. Hijazi has been teaching Quran and Arabic in Australia since 2011. Hundreds of students have graduated from iQra’ and started reading Quran in classes that he taught and supervised. Mr. Hijazi has always wanted to make a change and evolve the way non-Arabic speakers learn how to read the Quran, so he merged several methodologies in his classes and differentiated between abilities to tailor knowledge and deliver it to everyone. Mr Hijazi holds face2face classes and off shore/online classes too. He has provided his email below for students who would like to be assessed further on a certain page or they feel stuck on a certain page or in a certain book to communicate with him for an assessment or for further assistance. This app will keep updating to catch up with updated operating systems. This app will depend on customers feedback through the email to improve and add tweaks to it.
