# Magic Match 3 vs Fun Match! Match

The clearest difference is ads: Magic Match 3 at none against Fun Match! Match's shown. Magic Match 3 also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (8.4 vs 12.0). Fun Match! Match's advantage is ratings volume (325 vs 72). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Match 3 sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Fun Match! Match sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fun Match! Match holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 72 and 325 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Magic Match 3's written reviews are positive against 65% of Fun Match! Match's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Match 3 ships an update monthly, Fun Match! Match every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
