# Sense Home vs MACH TECH

The clearest difference is rating: MACH TECH at 5.0 against Sense Home's 4.5. MACH TECH also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 17.0). Sense Home's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MACH TECH holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sense Home has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sense Home ships an update fortnightly, MACH TECH every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
