# Sense Home vs HomeBoost

Sense Home and HomeBoost both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of HomeBoost's written reviews are positive against 39% of Sense Home's. Sense Home's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 67). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Sense Home against 4.6 for HomeBoost. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sense Home has 2.3K ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 39% of Sense Home's written reviews are positive against 70% of HomeBoost's.

Sense Home ships an update fortnightly, HomeBoost every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
