# Dragon Anywhere vs Dictation App

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dictation App at free with in-app purchases against Dragon Anywhere's subscription. Dictation App also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 15%) and rating (3.0 vs 2.6). Dragon Anywhere's advantage is ratings volume (726 vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dragon Anywhere sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Dictation App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dictation App holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dragon Anywhere has 726 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
