# Hooked vs Creepypasta

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Creepypasta at 87% against Hooked's 24%. Creepypasta also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and device support (4 vs 2). Hooked's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hooked sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Creepypasta sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Creepypasta holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14K and 11K respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of Hooked's written reviews are positive against 87% of Creepypasta's.

Hooked ships an update every 5 days, Creepypasta every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
