# Hooked vs Vently

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Hooked at 14K against Vently's 8. Hooked also leads on review sentiment (24% vs 0%) and rating (4.2 vs 3.9). Vently's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 5 days) and iOS requirement (16 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hooked sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Vently sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hooked holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hooked has 14K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of Hooked's written reviews are positive against 0% of Vently's.

Hooked ships an update every 5 days, Vently daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
