# Hooked vs Finding Bigfoot

The clearest difference is rating: Finding Bigfoot at 5.0 against Hooked's 4.2. Finding Bigfoot also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Hooked's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 2) and chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hooked sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Finding Bigfoot sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Finding Bigfoot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hooked has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hooked ships an update every 5 days, Finding Bigfoot every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
