# Echo360 vs UIC Connection

The clearest difference is rating: Echo360 at 3.5 against UIC Connection's 3.2. UIC Connection's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 15%) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Echo360 holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UIC Connection has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Echo360's written reviews are positive against 33% of UIC Connection's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Echo360 ships an update monthly, UIC Connection every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
