# Miswag vs Elixir

The clearest difference is ads: Elixir at none against Miswag's shown. Elixir also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Miswag's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (10K vs 1.5K). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Miswag holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Miswag has 10K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Miswag's written reviews are positive against 41% of Elixir's.

Miswag ships an update fortnightly, Elixir every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
